SYNOPSIS
A hitman's confession and a cameraman's obsession, BAD BUSINESS, tells the story of an anonymous gun for hire, a Cinema Verité filmmaker, and the movie they make. The ex-assassin is a sidewalk philosopher, art collector and raconteur, who has prospered immensely, albeit anonymously, from a life as a murderer for hire. Lured by the promise of 15 minutes of fame, and feeling secure that upcoming plastic surgery and the acquisition of a new identity will preserve his anonymity, he allows a camera, often times hidden, into his world. The result is an unusual sardonic camera-eye view of America and its values in the 90's. Shot in a hand held documentary style, the filmmaker's plan to make the ultimate documentary, goes awry and slowly slides into a cinematic Faustian bargain for both parties. Running time: 88.5 minutes:
